The premise of Confused.com car insurance is that customers complete an online form and their details are submitted to an extensive panel of partners. Confused.com insists that the price customers see is the price they pay for their car insurance. Customers only have to input their details once before comparing like-for-like quotations for their car insurance policy.

In mid-2009 Confused.com expanded its subsidiary across into the Spanish market. Meanwhile in early 2010 Confused.com will launch its French and Italian subsidiaries, as its European presence develops further.
